Securities
We accept stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other publicly-traded securities.
In most cases, donating appreciated stocks, mutual funds or stock options means you pay no tax on the capital gains. You will receive a tax receipt for the fair market value for your donation. To make a gift of securities, go to our securities page or please email Leslie Wright at leslie@thephilanthropist.ca.
