Chantelle Ohrling, CFRE, is the David Suzuki Foundation’s senior officer of legacy giving, helping caring Canadians alchemize their values and hopes into enduring environmental protections. Chantelle also serves as chair of communications and chair of equity and reconciliation for the Canadian Association of Gift Planners Greater Vancouver Chapter. She
contributes to the Black Canadian Fundraisers’ Collective and volunteers for the Hogan’s Alley Society. A regular guest lecturer for the University of British Columbia and speaker for the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Canadian Association of Gift Planners, she brings equity and community care to every conversation. You can find her writing at The Philanthropist Journal or Community Centric Fundraising’s Hub. When she’s off the clock, she’s usually tucked away with a good book or spending quality time with the matriarchs in her life.
