Catherine Phillips

Catherine Phillips is a freelance journalist with a background in writing, editing, and producing. Working as a local and international reporter, she has covered everything from health, gender, and the environment, to food, advertising, and art for Newsweek Europe, The Globe and Mail, and Strategy magazine, among others. One of her most fulfilling projects was with the non-profit media organization Challenge for Change, in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada and VIA Rail, which took her from coast to coast to listen to the personal stories that meant the most to Canadians ahead of the country’s 150th anniversary. She currently lives in Toronto.
