Steve Salterio (B. Comm. Mt. A. ’82, Ph.D. Michigan ’93 FCA). Steve is the Director of the CA-Queen’s Centre for Governance, PricewaterhouseCoopers/Tom O’Neill Faculty Fellow in Accounting and a Professor of Business at the Queen’s School of Business. His research investigates, among other areas, corporate governance with special attention to the role of the audit committee and external auditor; negotiations between auditor and client management on financial reporting issues and the effects of enhanced disclosure on the quality of corporate governance; and judgmental effects of performance measurement systems. Steve is Editor (effective May 1, 2010) of Contemporary Accounting Research one of the top five accounting research journals in the world.

Patrick Legresley, CA, is Associate Director, Finance at the Queen’s School of Business. Prior to this appointment, Patrick was with a major public accounting firm carrying out audits of not- for-profit organiizations of all sizes. He is the Technical Scoring Director of the 2009 and 2010 VSRA competitions. He received his BCOM (Hons) from the Queen’s School of Business in 2002.
